Reason For Learning

Students will develop an understanding of the great feats of human exploration in Australia so as to gain more of a perspective of why many people have been called to such feats.

Learning Intention

By presenting information to their peers about famous Australian explorers and their reasons for undertaking such feats, students will understand what people in Australian history have gone through in pursuit of exploration as well as what motivates such individuals to risk their lives in exploring new frontiers.
