Reason For Learning

This bite focuses on the Anzac legend and first hand accounts of Gallipoli, the Western Front and the Middle East. It is a brief overview of the Anzac experience and gives students the chance to analyse primary sources and write creatively.

Learning Intention

Students will focus on using primary sources to learn about the Anzac experience in WWI. They will also be given the opportunity to do some creative writing to prepare for NAPLAN as well as build on the skills developed in term one's sensory writing task.
