Reason For Learning

To create awareness of the risk of sexual contact. It is important to be informed of the risks that are involved in being sexually active in terms of physical health and how young people can protect themselves against contracting sexually transmitted infections/diseases, also how to deal with them if they do occur.

Learning Intention

The different types of sexually transmitted infections (STI) and diseases for example: herpes, chlamydia and gonorrhoea. How STI’s are transmitted, ways to prevent contracting them and where to get help and/or treatment if you think you may have been infected.
