You have created several mind maps and have begun to develop ideas for your artwork. Read your Studio Art textbook, Art-isan, pages 12-14 under the heading 'DEVELOPING AN IDEA INTO AN ARTFORM'.

  • Include all highlighted art terms below in your glossary in your A4 plastic folder. Ensure you provide an explanation for each term (found in Art-isan).
  • realistic representation
  • interpretive
  • expressive
  • analytical
  • descriptive
  • responsive
  • installation pieces

ACTIVITY: Choose two of your ideas. Investigate different ways in which you can translate these ideas into visual language. For example, you may choose to explore and translate one of your ideas in a representational and expressive way.
