Key ways to get ahead
- Organisation: pre read and summarise as much of the course as you can. This helps you better understand what is discussed in class.
- VCAA Website: Explore and download resources such as Past exams and solutions. Reading the solutions will indicate the level that you are striving to achieve.
- Learn the definitions off by heart. You will be tested on these basic definitions in all SACs and in your exams. The sooner you know them the better.
- Materials: Make sure you have the right materials.
- Pencil, sharpener, eraser, highlighters, coloured pens
- Scientific calculator (should not use phone or Ipod for calculations in class)
- 2x writing books (one for notes and one for a glossary) OR prepare your OneNote pages
These basic materials will help you be organised from the start. Revising for SACs and the
Exam will be much easier if all of your work is set out neatly and organised.
