Learning Intention
The aim for this unit is for students to gain awareness and understanding of the ways that characters, objects and situations can be transformed within a theatre performance to change or enhance the meaning and intention behind a performance. Through this unit, students will have the opportunity to experiment with the concept of transformation in a variety of ways, utilizing both simplistic and complex methods in order to expand their skill set and understanding of what constitutes transformation and how it can be used effectively and appropriately in dramatic performance.
