Reason For Learning
Improving global health and promoting sustainable human development has become a worldwide concern. The United Nations (UN), the World Health Organisation (WHO), the Australian government through the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and many non-government organisations are all working to overcome injustices; improve health outcomes and reduce poverty; and reduce the impact of natural disasters, conflict and disease. Through the provision of aid, the needs of the poor can be addressed and lives can be improved.
