Reason For Learning

This is part of Physical Education Unit 2 coursework and is important for students who are considering a pathway in a coaching role or sports scientist position. This will enable them to structure their training in a way which will get the greatest results from the athletes they are training.

Learning Intention

1. Students will be able to classify motor skills under the categories movement precision, types of movements and predictability of the environment. 2. Students will be able to identify and explain the characteristics of an athlete in particular stage of learning. 3. Students will be able to create a lesson with the appropriate learning style, practice and feedback depending of the stage of learning an athlete is in.
